# SmarterDividends

> SmarterDividends is a dividend research platform covering ~3,700 US dividend-paying stocks, ETFs and funds. For every payer we publish daily-refreshed dividend data (yields, payout ratios, growth streaks, full histories, ex-dividend dates, price charts), a proprietary backtested Dividend Safety Score, an independent fair-value estimate, research tools, and a data-driven dividend newsroom. All figures are computed in-house from primary financial data. Not investment advice.

- Coverage of ~3,700 US dividend payers, dividend data refreshed daily; safety scores and fair values refreshed weekly.
- The Dividend Safety Score (0–100) is fit by backtesting which dividends were actually cut over 15+ years (validated ~0.78 AUC); higher = safer.
- Fair value blends three models — a two-stage discounted cash flow, a dividend-discount model, and Benjamin Graham's revised earnings multiple — with a confidence level from how tightly they agree. A stock is "undervalued" when price is 15%+ below the blend, "overvalued" when 15%+ above.
- All news figures are taken directly from confirmed dividend data, not estimated.
