How to use the dividend calendar
Each cell shows the stocks going ex-dividend that day. To collect a payment you must own the sharesbeforethe ex-date, so the calendar is the schedule for when to buy, when to expect cash, and which months your portfolio actually pays. Green chips are confirmed by the company; amber chips are estimates projected from the payer's usual cadence and firm up as declarations arrive.
New to the mechanics? Read what the ex-dividend date means. Want a payment every month? Start with monthly dividend stocks or weekly dividend ETFs, then size the portfolio with the dividend income calculator.
Dividend Calendar — FAQ
What is a dividend calendar?
A dividend calendar lists the upcoming ex-dividend dates and payment dates for dividend-paying stocks and ETFs. It tells you the last day you can buy a stock and still receive its next dividend, and when the cash actually lands.
What is the ex-dividend date?
The ex-dividend date is the first trading day a stock trades without the right to its upcoming dividend. To receive the payment you must own the shares before the ex-date; buy on or after it and the seller keeps the dividend. See our full explainer on the ex-dividend date.
How are the dates on this calendar determined?
Confirmed dates come from company announcements already in our dividend data. Estimated dates are projected from each payer's historical schedule (quarterly, monthly or weekly) and are marked in amber until confirmed. May 2160 currently shows 0 ex-dates, 0 of them confirmed.
How do I get paid every month with dividends?
Combine monthly payers such as Realty Income with quarterly payers whose ex-dates fall in different months. Use this calendar to check which months each holding pays, or start from the monthly dividend stocks list.
How often is the dividend calendar updated?
Daily. Dividend declarations, ex-dates and pay dates refresh every morning across the whole universe we track.
