FIX — Comfort Systems USA, Inc.
Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX) increased its quarterly dividend to $0.90 per share from $0.80, a 12.5% rise. The dividend carried an ex-dividend date of Aug. 13, 2026.

The higher payout comes against a backdrop of strong operating performance. Operating cash flow reached $1.14 billion during the quarter. Chief Executive Brian Lane attributed the results to strong execution and ongoing demand. He said the company’s workforce, project pipeline and backlog supported management’s optimism for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. The company did not explicitly identify those factors as the reason for the dividend increase. Comfort Systems USA

What it means for income investors
The increase adds $0.10 per share to each quarterly payment and $0.40 per share on an annualized basis. However, the 0.22% forward yield means the stock remains a relatively low-yielding dividend holding despite its 13-year growth streak.
Comfort Systems USA carries a dividend-safety score of 94 out of 100 and an A safety grade. Those measures indicate a strong assessed capacity to support the payout, though they do not guarantee future dividends. Dividend declarations remain subject to board approval and may change with business conditions.
