Perdoceo Education increased its quarterly dividend to $0.17 per share, extending its dividend-growth streak to two consecutive years.
PRDO — Perdoceo Education Corporation
Perdoceo Education Corporation (NASDAQ: PRDO) raised its quarterly dividend to $0.17 per share from $0.15, an increase of 13.33%. The shares traded ex-dividend on Sept. 1, 2026.
At the new rate, the education provider’s annualized dividend is $0.68 per share. That represents a forward yield of 2.05% based on a share price of $32.99. The increase extends Perdoceo’s dividend-growth streak to two consecutive years.
The higher payout was disclosed alongside Perdoceo’s latest quarterly results. Management said the company delivered another quarter of strong operating performance and continued the sustainable growth achieved over the prior two years. Chief Executive Todd Nelson also pointed to the company’s balance-sheet flexibility to fund organic investment, evaluate additional investments and return capital to shareholders. Business context
Perdoceo provides postsecondary education through Colorado Technical University, the American InterContinental University System and the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Its institutions offer online, campus-based and hybrid programs ranging from associate degrees through doctoral degrees, along with professional-development and non-degree programs. Perdoceo’s quarterly report
The University of St. Augustine broadens the portfolio with graduate health-sciences programs, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy and nursing. Perdoceo acquired the institution in late 2024, and its results have since been consolidated into the company’s financial statements. Perdoceo’s SEC filing on the acquisition
The company’s latest filing also shows that management is balancing dividends with other uses of capital, including investment in its academic institutions and a share-repurchase authorization. That broader approach provides context for the dividend increase but does not guarantee future payout growth.
What it means for income investors
For shareholders focused on income, the increase adds $0.02 per share to each quarterly payment and lifts annualized income to $0.68 per share. The two-year growth record is still relatively short, so future declarations will remain subject to board approval and the company’s operating performance, cash needs and capital-allocation priorities.
