Tapestry, Inc. increased its quarterly dividend to $0.463 per share from $0.40, a 15.75% rise. The shares traded ex-dividend on Sept. 4, 2026.

The new payment equates to an annual dividend of $1.85 per share. Based on a share price of $122.14, Tapestry’s forward annual dividend yield is 1.51%.

The increase extends the consumer-cyclical company’s dividend-growth streak to four consecutive years. That record follows a previous dividend cut in 2022, making the latest action part of a relatively recent rebuilding of the payout rather than an uninterrupted multidecade growth history.

Business momentum supports the increase

Tapestry is the parent company of Coach and Kate Spade New York. In its fiscal 2026 results, the company reported annual revenue of $8.0 billion, up 14% from the prior year, with Coach delivering 24% growth. Tapestry also said both gross margin and operating margin expanded during the year. The company attributed its capital-return plans to its financial position, free-cash-flow generation and expectations for continued growth.

The increase is also consistent with Tapestry’s broader capital-allocation framework. At its 2025 investor day, management outlined an “Amplify” strategy centered on consumer acquisition, product innovation and international growth. The company said its longer-term policy was to grow the dividend at least in line with earnings growth, while continuing share repurchases. Tapestry’s strategy places those shareholder returns alongside continued investment in Coach and efforts to improve Kate Spade.

What it means for income investors

The higher rate increases quarterly cash income for shareholders, but the 1.51% forward yield remains the clearest measure of the payout relative to the supplied share price. Tapestry carries a dividend safety score of 59 out of 100, corresponding to a C grade. That assessment, together with the 2022 cut, indicates that the four-year growth streak should be viewed in the context of the company’s operating performance and cash generation rather than as a guarantee of future increases.
